Yes, within the scope of the bases it is designed for. The clamp is machined from 5 mm high-strength steel specifically to withstand maximum Direct Drive torque without flexing. As with any desk mount, the result also depends on your desk: a solid, rigid desktop makes all the difference compared with a thin or hollow panel.

Will it fit my desk?

It works with desktops up to 50 mm thick, which covers most common desks and worktops. Measure the thickness of your desktop at the point where you plan to clamp it before ordering.

Which wheelbases is it designed for?

The MOZA R5, R9 and R12. The wheelbase is not included.

Can I still use it if I later move to a rig?

Yes, in part. Some of the components can be reused to mount the wheelbase on an aluminium profile rig, so the purchase is not lost when you upgrade your setup.

Is it easy to remove?
