Heusinkveld - Steering Wheel

Heusinkveld has built its entire reputation on engineering sim racing hardware from first principles rather than copying real-world motorsport equipment — and the One, the brand's first ever steering wheel, is no exception. Revealed at the Sim Gaming Expo in Chicago in September 2025 and now available, the One is a deliberately original design: a formula-inspired wheel shaped around ergonomics and input access rather than replica aesthetics, built to feel fast and precise in a sim racing cockpit from the very first lap.

At 1024 grams and approximately 270 mm at hand position, the One is constructed from high-end fibre-reinforced composite material — lightweight and rigid, with low inertia that lets every nuance of direct drive force feedback pass through the rim without dampening. The input layout is dense but deliberately intuitive: 14 buttons, 4 push rotary encoders with grippy caps, 2 seven-way multifunction switches, 2 push-pull magnetic shifter paddles with adjustable length, and 2 dual-clutch paddles. Nine configurable RGB telemetry LEDs in the centre panel are fully controllable via SimHub for gear, flag and shift point feedback.

 Connectivity is entirely wireless via a proprietary ultra low-latency dongle — no spiral cable, no ecosystem lock-in. The 2800 mAh battery delivers over 60 hours of racing on a single charge. The One mounts via an integrated 50.8 mm threaded hub compatible with most quick release systems, with an optional 70 mm adapter available.
