The Conspit Ares 20 Platinum is the most powerful base in the Ares series: 20 Nm through a skew-pole direct drive motor and a 23-bit optical encoder, with a torque slew rate up to 9.5 Nm/ms, in a 7.9 kg aluminium housing. Its CDR quick release gives a rigid, wear-free wheel connection, and this version ships with the CSD Nano telemetry display included, clipped magnetically onto the front of the base. Setup through Conspit Link 2.0, on PC Windows.

Important notes

• Ares 12 Nm (CDP): same 12 Nm base with the ball-lock CDP quick release, for wheels already fitted with CDP.
• Ares 20 Platinum (CDR) + CSD Nano: same technology, 20 Nm of torque reserve.

FAQ

Who needs 20 Nm?

Drivers who want maximum torque reserve: powerful cars, high caster, heavy wheels or strong force feedback settings. The Conspit Ares 20 Platinum uses the same 23-bit encoder and skew-pole motor technology as the Ares 12; the difference is the torque.

Is the CSD Nano display really included?

Yes. This version of the Conspit Ares 20 Platinum ships with the CSD Nano telemetry display, normally sold separately, clipped magnetically on the front of the base with no cable.

Is a steering wheel included?

No. The Conspit Ares 20 Platinum is sold without a wheel. The CDR wheel side comes with the Conspit 310 Apex CDR; other Conspit wheels need the Conspit CDR Quick Release.

Is an emergency stop available?

Yes. The Conspit CES E-Stop is available as an option. It is a sensible addition on a 20 Nm base such as the Ares 20 Platinum, especially in a shared or family setup.
