Return & Refund Policy

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and the French Consumer Code (Articles L221-18 et seq.), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order, without justification or penalty.

Eligibility

• Item in its original condition, complete and not used beyond simple inspection
• Original packaging, all accessories and manuals included
• Proof of purchase (invoice or order number)

You may handle the product as in a physical store (visual checks, compatibility). Any actual use (e.g., mounting on a rig, connecting for gaming, prolonged testing, visible wear, scratches, missing parts) may lead to a reduction of the refund, as we never re-sell returned products as “new”.

How to start a return

Please contact us first at contact@thefrenchsimracer.com. Items sent back without prior authorization cannot be accepted.

Return shipping is borne by the customer, unless the item is defective/damaged or we made a preparation error.

Refund Options

• Full store credit (100%) — You receive the entire order value as a voucher, usable on any future purchase.
• Refund to your original payment method — A case-by-case, proportional deduction may apply, from 5% to 35%, depending on the condition of the returned product (e.g., signs of use, assembly, missing packaging/accessories). This reduction reflects the objective depreciation of the item.

Under Article L221-23, any deduction must relate to handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or incorrect. We will make it right at no cost to you.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have; once the return is accepted, place a new order for the desired product.

Processing & Timelines

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. After approval:

• Store credit: issued immediately after approval.
• Refund: processed within 10 business days (banks/card issuers may need extra time). If more than 15 business days have passed, please contact us.
